Caught in a parking bay by another Vehicle
This week I have yet another VW Golf dent repair to share with you.
This was a stunning example in Pearl white and it had a “not so nice” bit of damage on the rear arch and roof.
Our customer did not want this re painting under any circumstances and travelled from Manchester for this repair, after reading our reviews and seeing similar repairs on our YouTube channel. He felt the damage could be saved with PDR
The main damage was a horizontal crease approx 100mm which ran through a bodyline and even buckling the panel lip. Very limited access behind this damage only a screw clip hole offering a small access, this was mostly a glue pull repair.
The secondary damage was on the door, again a horizontal crease and this was repaired using glue and PDR tools
Our customer was over the moon with the repair. Extremely satisfied and said the 2 hour drive from Manchester to Beverley was well worth it.

It Only Takes One Wrong Move and SNAP
Unfortunately our customer caught the charge door on his VW Golf when moving around the car, pushing the open flap with his body and it over extended creating a dent in the wing before snapping clean off 😱😫
The dent was approx 50mm and there was also an “Outi Dent” from something inside likely a brace which pushed a small high dent into the wing also.
To access this damage I needed to remove the charge door assembly-Housing, which opened up the panel giving me easy access to use the fender pliers and successfully repair the dent
A new charge door had been painted by our partners and also a new charge housing was fitted.
100% repair within a few hours!!

Less than 7k on the clock and picked up a car park dent….

I recently had a VERY clean VW Tiguan in for a dent repair, the dent was on the door and also over a bodyline which is a very common dent for these VW
Our customer was quite “miffed” because this vehicle was his pride and joy, keeping it super clean all the time and this really put him off Polishing it in his spare time.

The repair took only a few hours to complete, using a few tools to massage this dent out and finishing off with a sharp door tool, totally removing this dent from the door and making my customer very happy again! All this was done completely paint free just using the Paintless Dent Removal process

🇮🇹 What An Amazing Dent Show! ⭐️

Last week we visited Italy for the 2024 DB Expo
This is the second year the show has run and it was amazing! I was kindly invited to give a presentation on Reflection sources within PDR for techs who don’t use lines, and for total beginners and people wanting to learn PDR techniques
I gave a presentation on both days and it was very interesting to try something new! Speaking to an audience! I was helped along by a translator who did such a great job of firstly listening to a seminar about lines, and secondly understanding my “Hull” Accent

I also entered the dent competition and those dents were deep! The Fiat panel was quite flimsy too but I went at it and I did a fantastic repair, just ever so slightly stretched in the centre but I’d say I was in the middle of the competitors!

Meeting old, new friends, My Wife and I had a super weekend!!
